Good resorts to stay at include Talamanca or Figueretas. Platja d’en Bossa is another nice spot. It is just 3 kilometers away from Ibiza town with a lot to offer. Here you can participate in one of the watersports that are on offer or you can just relax on the white beach sands before cooling off in the cool waters. This is a great place to go whether it is just you and your partner or whether you want to take the kids along. There is plenty of entertainment for just about everyone. Parents will be happy to know that the beaches are perfectly safe.
Talamanca is just a 15 minute walk from Ibiza town so here you have the best of both worlds. You can stay in one of these locations and experience life in both place. Talamanca provides you with a strip of hotels overlooking the beach with fantastic views. You really can’t complain about this. You can also get a glimpse of the old town of Ibiza from your hotel. After you have spent a day on the beach in Talamanca you can head off to the promenade where you can find a massive selection of pubs, cafes and clubs too choose from.
If you are a looking for a little culture with a mix of lazing about and forgeting about the real world then head off to Figueretas because it is where you will be able to mix with a lot of locals and get a taste of what life is really like in this beautiful place. Of course, we are never short of tourists so there is a nice balance here. If you walk along the promenade in the evening you will find artists in market stalls as well as caricaturists and artisans adding to the atmosphere. It creates a nice vibe.
Other top resorts include San Anonio, the second biggest, which will leave you with a sunset to remember. Carla Tarida and Puerto de San Miguel are also very popular.
